Come join us on a sunrise hike up Madison (5367') and Adams (5774'), the two northernmost mountains in the Presidential range! This 10 mile hike will cover >5000ft of elevation gain and significant above treeline sections, so a high level of physical fitness and previous winter above treeline experience required.

To beat the incoming storm for the drive home, we'll have an early morning start and plan to be hiking well before sunrise. We'll stay Friday night at Intervale (one of the MITOC cabins) to maximize our already minimal sleeping time. :)

This trip will include beautiful views of the Presidentials, sunrise, and a chance to get more experience with extended above treeline travel. Plus, you get to hike through landscapes like this:
