Express your inner cat by being a cat on Wildcat! Get creative to give yourself some whiskers, ears, or cat themed clothing to climb Wildcat.
The western portion of Wildcat Ridge (along the Appalachian Trail) has a reputation for being very steep and difficult. We will be hit the peaks of Wildcat E, Wildcat D (4062'), Wildcat C, Wildcat B, and Wildcat A starting from Pinkham Notch Lodge via Lost Pond Trail (flat 0.9 mi) and Wildcat Ridge Trail (gains 2000 feet in 1.3 miles). This will be 4.1 miles each way for a total of 8.2 miles. Between peaks E and D will be a great view of the ski area. Peak D has a great lookout area of Mt. Washington that will be well worth the trip!
