Prerequisites
Participants should be in good physical condition, have some winter hiking experience, and most importantly be UNDERGRADS!

Edit: We are now hiking the Skyline trail in the Blue Hills due to forecasted weather. The temperatures may be negative but our attitudes are still positive!

Get stoked for the first UNDERGRAD EXCLUSIVE trip of winter school. Led by undergrads for undergrads get excited to take on the cursed traverse (Yes I rhyme) of Mt. Tom, Mt. Field, and Mt. Willey. This hike will be around 8 miles with ~3,800 or ~3,200 feet of elevation gain depending on which end we start. We will meet up with Team 1(of whom are cool, but not as cool as us) halfway to exchange keys, stories, fist bumps, possibly a snowball fight? the list goes on and on.

According to a non undergrad source who will not be named, this route is cursed, but this curse is to be broken this weekend by two valiant undergrad teams. Bring your wicking lucky underwear and prepare for a good time. This hike will be difficult and you should be in good physical condition( able to comfortably hike 8-10 miles on steep terrain). There is probable snow coming in this weekend so it is likely we will have to break trail with snowshoes. Get excited!

Go Team 2!

Notes
  1. What is the longest hike(winter or summer) that you have done? 2. How many winter hikes have you done?
  2. Why is the number 2 better than the number 1?
