Join Colin, Cole, Cole, and Co(m)ason for an overnight #sufferfest in the Bonds!
We'll be heading up to Camelot Friday night to stage the trip. On Saturday morning we'll drive over to the Lincoln Woods Trailhead, ski 5-6 miles in, and then snowshoe up to our below treeline campsite below Bondcliff. Depending on time, we will either tag Bondcliff, Bond, and West Bond Saturday afternoon or save those for Sunday morning. We'll cook dinner as a group (leaders bringing food) and maybe practice some snow camping skills Saturday night - it's going to snow a bunch so be ready to #embracethesuck!
On Sunday morning, we'll make breakfest (also leader provided), tag the Bonds if we didn't do that Saturday, and snowshoe/ski out.
This trip is a physically difficult trip with a total distance of ~22 miles and ~5000ft of cumulative elevation gain. Please see the prereqs and fill out the notes. This trip also has an above treeline component, though it's not required that you have prior above treeline experience.
If weather precludes us from undertaking the planned itinerary, we'll do dayhikes accessible from Camelot on Sat/Sun and camp at Camelot Saturday night instead.
