500 feet elevation gain, 5 miles.
We will hike Mount Norwottuck (1,106 feet) in the (Mighty) Holyoke Range in western Massachusetts, on the Metacomet-Monadnock Trail, which will take about 3 hours. We'll leave around 9 am, get there at 11, hike for a few hours, and then get coffee and or donuts. There is a chance of rain for Sunday, so rain gear (waterproof jacket and pants) will be required. It could be icy so we may need microspikes too.
