Mini-trip to Middlesex Fells!
Join us for a vigorous hike on the Rock Circuit Trail, a strenuous and whimsical, 4.7-mile loop that goes right up and over every rocky jag in sight. So hilly, it's kind of silly. Nice views of the Boston skyline. We'll hike for 3-4 hours.
Maximum fun for short travel time -- it's less than 10 miles away from MIT campus.
When and Where: 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 The Eastern start of the Cross-Fells Trail.
If there aren't enough cars, the trailhead is accessible by public transit. Directions: https://goo.gl/maps/cH5qDagy4t42
Bring: - water - snacks - sunscreen - boots or shoes that can handle rocky terrain
You don't need to be a MITOC member for this trip -- just sign a waiver.
