This will be a relaxed jaunt over gentle terrain completely suitable for beginners. There will be a few small hills just to make it interesting. Light touring skis will be sufficient. Heavier skis are also fine. Exact details will depend on the wishes of the group. Generally, the plan is to rendez-vous at 10 AM about 20 miles south of Boston on Moosehill in the town of Sharon and to ski for around 4 or 5 hours including a stop for lunch.
There is a really fine sledding hill nearby, presenting an opportunity for some independent sledding after the official WS trip concludes.
Note: the pre-trip meeting for this trip will be held at the MITOC office after Thursday's lecture (at 9pm)
