This is a weekend for climbers to gather at Camelot to climb together, meet new climbing partners, eat, hydrate, and be merry!

Time

June 23-24. Most people will probably arrive Friday night and leave after climbing on Sunday

Location

MITOC's Camelot cabin and the nearby crags (Rumney, Franconia Notch, etc.)

Climbing:

The cabin is about 15 minutes from sport climbing at Rumney and less than an hour from trad (and sport) climbing in Franconia Notch.

All climbing groups will be self-organized (there won't be any central planning), so participants should be able to independently find and evaluate climbing partners. If you need a mentor to take you climbing, you should make arrangements before signing up.

Food:

There will be an optional group dinner on Saturday night. I'll volunteer to make pasta and/or campfire food (hotdogs, etc.) If anyone would like to volunteer to make something more interesting, let me know. The cost for dinner will be roughly $6 per person.

Logistics

Sign up on this trip page to join. Signups will close on Monday, 6/18. Please also fill out this very quick survey to help us get a sense of who's attending.

The trip fee is $10 to cover camping/cabin use. Please pay after the signups are confirmed.

Here's a link to a Google group to help organize climbing groups in advance. You can also try to find partners once you arrive at the cabin, but there's a risk of being left behind.

A rideshare spreadsheet will be sent out after signups close to help with carpooling. We will use the car information in your profile to make sure that there will be enough rides, so please make sure that's accurate.
