Keywords: hot chocolate! And Kaya the husky puppy!

Full description: For those of you looking to get out into the sticks this weekend without subjecting yourselves to three-hour drives, the ever-present threat of avalanches, and sleeping with pee bottles to stay warm, this may be the perfect trip for you! And even for those of you who are specifically seeking those experiences, we can likely tailor the trip to fit your needs.

Whatever the case may be, join us this Sunday as we head out to the Middlesex Fells, some 20 minutes north of MIT, to romp around in the fresh snow and explore some of the most readily accessible hiking trails in the Boston area! We'll get great views of the Boston skyline, enjoy a tasty mid-hike picnic, and bask in the glorious presence of a 6-month old husky puppy named Kaya. And we'll practice one of the most important winter skills: making hot chocolate!

All skill levels are welcome, and trip requirements will be few and far between - depending on the snow cover situation, we may recommend microspikes or snow shoes, but beyond that no additional technical gear should be necessary. Hope to see you there!
