It might actually snow! Come ski some 'passable' (as opposed to 'grim but passable') conditions in the backcountry on Mt Cardigan this Saturday.
Let's plan on meeting at the Cardigan AMC lodge at 8:30 on Saturday morning, and spend the day poking around the trails and abandoned ski areas on Mt. Cardigan.
YOU SHOULD EXPECT THAT THE SKIING WILL BE DIFFICULT. Narrow turns, trees, rocks, substantial ice will likely abound.
If you did one of the frontcountry backcountry trips (and it felt ok) you are highly recommended to sign up for this one.

- Can you ski black diamond/double black runs without a warmup?
- Do you need to rent a backcountry rig from MITOC? If so, AT, tele, or splitboard?
- Do you have a car?
- How many days have you skied in the last year?
