Get excited for the funkiest trip of Winter School traversing Franconia Ridge!
We'll hike up the falling waters trail to the summit of Little Haystack, traverse two miles north on the ridge crossing Mount Lincoln, and Mount Truman until we reach Mount Lafayette. Then we'll descend down the Greenleaf Trail to the Old Bridle Path.
Expect a hard hike. 8 Miles, and 4000 feet of elevation gain. Some winter experience and a high level of fitness will be important to traversing the ridge quickly and safely with high winds and cool temps.
