We will be heading to Mount Washington for a skin & ski event on the Mt. Washington Auto Road hosted by Granite Backcountry Alliance. The Auto Road is 7.6 miles long and the goal is to reach the summit and then ski down! Reaching the summit is not required - you can go any length on the road before you turn around. We're planning on skinning socially and staying (roughly) together.

The event is called M.W. OTTO RHODE MEMORIAL SKIN & SKI: check out their Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/events/2045166255495324/ and their website here: http://granitebackcountryalliance.org/otto/

Trip plan: Leave Boston Saturday morning, start skin and ski at noon, join an after-party from 4-7 pm, and come back to Boston Saturday night.

*Note: Our number of participants on this trip is limited by the amount of gear that we have to rent. If you have your own AT ski gear and would like to ski with us, we'll add you to the trip.

Estimated costs: - $20 Registration fee (sign up at www.skireg.com/otto - be sure to include the discount code OTTOU) - $20 Trip fee, which covers the rental cost - cash for driver
