Prerequisites
At least one winter hike. Comfortable with microspikes and layering. Reasonable fitness level (i.e. comfortable walking 10miles uphill).

This Sunday we'll be perfecting glissading down Mt Liberty & hopefully peak-bagging Flume. Liberty and Flume are classic 4000 footers on Franconia Ridge. On a clear day, we should have spectacular views.

We'll practicing efficient breaks so that we can make it to Flume before our turn-around time. If we make it to flume, we can reward ourselves with a quick feast.

Hiking distance is 8.2 miles round trip to liberty, 10.1 miles including Flume with 3677 feet of elevation gain.

We will plan to drive up on Sunday morning but there is a possibility to stay at Camelot on Saturday night if there is enough interest in doing this. Itinerary details can be found here.
