Join us for a pie-ful hike up Mt Pierce! This is a fairly gentle, 6.4 miles roundtrip hike with 2350 ft of elevation gain. We will stay just under treeline, but (weather permitting) may get some nice views of the presidentials!
The plan is to stop somewhere along the way to practice our self-arrest skills and of course to also stop somewhere to eat PIE. We will bring some pie, but the more pie the better, so… BYOP (to share!).
For this trip you will need to bring an ice ax for the self-arrest practice as well as microspikes and your other usual winter gear and of course… your favorite pie. Most things except for the pie can be rented from the MITOC office.
