For this trip we will head up to Rochester, Vermont for a weekend of camping and trail work at one of the best areas for gladed skiing in the Northeast. The Rochester Area Sports Trails Alliance (RASTA) over the past few years has gladed more than 20,000 vertical feet of trails in Brandon Gap. This trip will be a good opportunity to familiarize yourself with the backcountry skiing opportunities at Brandon Gap while giving back to one of the local communities where we recreate.

DETAILS: We’ll leave early Saturday morning to meet at the Brandon Gap trailhead at 9:00AM to volunteer for trail/glading work. After we are down, we'll head to town to check out the backcountry gear swap and forum Saturday night. We will camp in the Sunrise shelter along the Long Trail and do some more trail work on Sunday.
