Let's be honest, most of us joined MITOC because we dreamed of being able to work the desk. Sure, we tolerate hiking, skiing, climbing etc. But nothing compares to the thrill of handing someone a freshly waxed pair of skis, organizing the sleeping bags by temperature, making an impressive Nalgene sale – sigh. This is how man was meant to live.

If you too were born to desk, forced to hike, you can change that now by becoming a desk worker at this desk training!! It will be WEDNESDAY, Oct 21st at 6:00pm in the MITOC office (4th floor student center). You will learn how to rent gear to MITOCers, sell purchasables, handle checks, etc. And if the benefit of connecting with the part of your soul that was made to do deskwork isn't enough, we also provide MITOC credit for each shift, which you can use to purchase many wonderful things within the MITOC system :))

Please being your LAPTOP with you. It is necessary. Also, ideally you've participated in 2+ MITOC trips/events prior to attending this training. Please reach out if you are hoping for an exception.
