- Either being a self-reliant climber or make plans to either go climbing with someone more experienced, or go hiking.
Please note - No official trips will be coordinated!
You must be able / willing to find your own climbing partners and be a self-sufficient climber. No top rope or learn to lead trips will be as part of this event.
We will be hosting a climbers open cabin at Camelot to:
- Celebrate the life and times of Sir Benjamin Kessel, former MITOC climbing leader super-volunteer.
- Gather School of Rocks alums of all years for a Reunion
- Have current and incoming leaders hang out and get to know each other!
The main gathering will be Sat Sept 19. We'll provide dinner that evening, and breakfast on Sunday (Waffles!).
Adventures should be informally arranged, as there are no official trips. While most will likely be climbing trips, hiking and other adventures are welcome too! An activity coordination spreadsheet will be sent out to trip participants in advance to help folks find adventure buddies.
Trip fee
The trip fee will be $20 and covers Sat dinner, Sun breakfast, and the cabin stay. Please pay here and save your receipt number.
