Prerequisites
Able to swim

Come canoe the Charles! You need to be able to swim and help move a canoe with the carts! We will be in the sun, so please wear sun protection! If you already have 3 season leader training, coming on this trip can also allow you to become a canoe leader! There is a $15 trip fee per person to cover the cost of renting the gear.

Assuming the weather and ecoli levels (https://www.crwa.org/water-quality-data) look good, we will take out the canoes and paddle the Charles! No driving required. We will meet at the boathouse at 8:30am to take out the boats from the boathouse in N52. We will then walk the boats to the river using carts. We should be on the river by about 10am. We'll paddle for a few hours and get out of the water back around 1-2pm. We should be done by 3:30pm at the latest!

You should pack water, snacks, and sunscreen!
