🔥 Do you want to lead hikes with us this spring and summer? (yes! it's the best!)

🚂 To become a three season (3S) hiking (co)leader, you'll need to attend a 3S hiking safety/training seminar. This month's seminar:

  • Wednesday, July 15, 6-7 PM in person at MITOC office (W20-461)
  • Zoom option available (link will be sent only to those registered).
  • Trip planning after the training! (optional, but encouraged!)

🍕 We'll have food at this training -- sign up by 5pm the day before to be included in the dinner headcount!

To become a 3-season co-leader with MITOC you will need to:

To become a 3S (full) leader:

  • You can move from a co-leader to full leader status after leading 2 hikes as co-leader and receiving upgrade recommendations from full leaders on these trips
  • We will also assign full-leader status on a case-by-case evaluation of previous outdoor leadership expertise, including your leader rating from Winter School, if applicable.
