Please read the entire trip description thoroughly before signing up. Please email leaders with questions if you are unsure; we want to make sure this trip is a good fit for you! Getting a spot via signup/lottery is not a guarantee that you'll be placed on this trip. Leaders reserve the right to vet participants based on experience.**

Put your boots/trail runners on your paws and claw up Fur-lume Slide! Flume Slide is a steep, slabby, scrambly, exposed and often damp trail that gains 1500 feet in only 0.75 miles. Read this to get a good idea of what to expect. We'll then scamper over to Mt Liberty and descent via Liberty Springs Trail for a total of 8 meownificient miles and 3500 furtastic feet of elevation.

You do not have to be a furry to join this hike, but you should have scrambling experience and the physical fitness to complete a strenuous hike. Flume Slide is dangerous to descend, so once we start ascending it we cannot turn around. You must also have hiking boots or trail runners with good traction -- please make sure your treads are not too worn down! We will check your shoes during pretrip meeting or morning of the hike before leaving Cambridge.

Fursuits are discouraged but animal ears and eyeliner/marker whiskers are encouraged!

Also we need drivers!! Please update your driver status on your profile.
