Think you have what it takes to be a desk hero?? Prove it at this desk workers training!!!

The training will be held in the MITOC office (W20-461), Wednesday April 29 at 6:00pm.

Please bring a laptop or tablet which we will use for practice.

Becoming a desk worker is a GREAT way to get more involved in MITOC. You get to... - Meet cool people - Answer questions and feel helpful - Open a safe and handle checks (oooh) - Avoid the lines for renting/returning cause you can do it yourself - Access the office whenever you want (if you have an MIT ID) - Earn desk credit (aka "monopoly money") which you can spend on rentals, trip fees, gear, classes like WFA/WFR, memberships, cabin stays, and the beautiful MITOC water bottles.

This training will covering rental policy and procedures, gear location in the office, difficult questions during office hours, and anything/everything else pertaining to desk shifts.

Please note you must have attended at least one MITOC trip to be eligible for desk worker training.
