Join us on a hike to Mt. Jackson and Mt. Webster! Mt. Jackson is one of the NH 4000-footers, with a great view of Mt. Washington and the Southern Presidentials. Our planned south-to-north route starts by going along Webster Cliff, with dramatic views into Crawford Notch. Enjoy the mountains before the bugs come!
Route: 7.3 miles, 3250 feet gain. The route involves scrambling on sloped rocks; we will bring microspikes and crampons for safety in case they are icy. Map
There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting (in person, or by zoom if you already have all gear) on Thursday, April 23 at 6:00pm in the MITOC office.
We will leave Cambridge early and stop for a quick breakfast near the trailhead. If you can drive your own car or are willing to drive a rental car, please edit your lottery preferences to show this.
Expected costs: car cost $20-$40/person, rental cost if you need microspikes, crampons, or other gear.
