Summer is coming, and that means the boating season is about to kick into full swing! Come learn about boating with MITOC, meet other boaters, and help organize the boathouse for the upcoming season!

MITOC has whitewater canoes and kayaks, sea kayaks, pack rafts, paddle boards, and surf boards available for rent, and we'll be running trips to get people out on the water as it warms up. But first, we need to get the boathouse cleaned up and get people boathouse trained. We also want to hear from you about what kinds of trips you are excited for!

Join us to:

  • Meet other MITOC boaters
  • Learn about boating with MITOC
  • Get boathouse trained
  • Help clean up and reorganize the boathouse
  • Enjoy some snacks, on the club.

Feel free to join us for the whole day or stop by for an hour or two! We will be there from 9am-4pm at the boathouse (building N52, corner of Windsor and Front Streets)!

NOTE: We are enforcing the policy of annual boathouse training & service. If you were trained last year, your training for this year can be fulfilled by an hour of service to the boathouse (https://mitoc.mit.edu/rentals/boathouse). If you have not been trained in the last year, you are required to finish an hour of service plus a boathouse training. For this clean up day, boathouse trainings will happen at 9am and 3pm. More trainings will be posted soon!
