Join us this Saturday for a classic Boston-area hike in the Blue Hills! Despite staying local, the Skyline Loop packs in a solid challenge: 8 miles with ~2100 ft of elevation gain with rewarding views.
Pre-reqs
This is a moderately strenuous day with a steady pace and limited breaks. You should be comfortable hiking ~4 miles and prepared for cold conditions. Reach out if you’re unsure!
Logistics
We’ll have a required pre-trip Zoom meeting Thursday at 6pm to cover plans, cars, and safety. Please complete the short forms we send beforehand. Gear rentals will be available.
Saturday plan
Depart Cambridge at 8 am.
Driving & Lottery
If you can drive (your car or a rental), let us know in your lottery preferences. Please only sign up if you can commit to the full trip.
Costs
~$10–15 for shared transportation (+ rentals if needed), split evenly via the MIT car cost calculator.
