Long ago in seasons past, fearless cabin manager Josh led a grand battle against the mice. The furry scrouge was pushed back to the borders of our lands (or building at least). But in recent years we've grown lax and the mice have grown bold. Join us as we work together to reclaim our cabin and push out the mice yet again!

We'll meet at the cabin (near North Conway) at 10am and spend the day doing maintenance, cleaning, and learning how to use the gas and right of way.

Our main project will be deep cleaning and re-enforcing mouse proofing of the cabin, we may tackle other chores as time allows.

  • Please wear sturdy shoes and long pants that you don't mind getting dirty
  • Bring a well fitting N95 or respirator, we'll be kicking up a lot of dust and potentially mouse droppings
  • A headlamp and kneepads may be helpful for some tasks. Work gloves might also be nice to have
  • We will likely order pizza for lunch. Please plan to bring your own breakfast, coffee, snacks, and water for the full day

If desired, folks are welcome to stay the night Saturday before the training. Driving all the way to Intervale and back in one day is feasible, but not fun at all.
