Program
3-season hiking
Type
Hiking
Trip date
Saturday, March 21st
Difficulty rating
easy
Prerequisites
Expect a relaxed morning - this is about being outdoors, not about physical exertion

Tired from the cold and the winter? Sad about mud season? Stressed about exams? Or... anything else that is bugging you and you really need some healing outdoors time with nice people and some mindfulness exercises? Let's go walk the blues away!

We'll be going for a beach walk on Boston's North Shore (easily accessible via car or commuter rail - likely in Beverly or Manchester by the Sea), where we will combine mindfulness exercises and walking, while chatting and finding joy in a simple morning spent outside.

This trip is easy in terms of physical requirements, since it'll be a max. 3-4 miles walk on the beach. That said - it's still cold out, so proper layering and footwear are essential, as are food and hydration.

Logistics

This is half-day trip. We will likely meet around 9am and the trip will end around noon. We'll have a mandatory online pre-trip meeting on Thursday evening (more info in the pre-trip email).

Notes
  1. We might go to a beach that allows dogs off-leash, would you mind? Leaders might bring their dogs too.
  2. What are you excited about for this trip?
