Come to Briggs field to build a snow fort (a quinzhee! a classic snow shelter and MITOC tradition)!
Bring warm layers, good vibes, and a can-do attitude. Shovels will be provided but you can also BYO.
We’ll start at 6pm (ideally bring a headlamp!) and finish whenever we’ve dug out the quinzhee and spent enough time enjoying the snow.
Exact location TBD based on how the snow piles get moved around on Briggs on Wednesday. Plan to meet at the piles near Burton-Conner/the tennis courts.
This trip is NOT part of the WS lottery. You do NOT need to have attended WS lectures or have an active MITOC membership (ie pay dues) to attend. You do need to have signed our liability waiver/have a mitoc-trips account to signup.
