have done a hike of similar length before, True Enthusiasm for buttsledding

Are you serious about buttsledding?

Are you ready to take it to the next level?

This is the trip for you.

We'll be hiking up Mt.s Tom and Field, then going sled mode serious style down Mt. Avalon and enjoying the longest, continuous, most uninterrupted pure trail sledding experience I know of in the whites. The trail is 6.7mi, with 2800' elevation gain. It will also be pretty cold. This should not be your first winter hike, and ideally not your first buttsled either unless you already know for certain you're going to be a True Enthusiast.

To maximize speed and enjoyment and minimize crashes, we will be bringing ice axes for tactical braking and emergency stoppage, and bringing radios to perform zoned traffic control to ensure no traffic jams.

Also, Alex will be driving up to Camelot from Cambridge on Saturday night at around 6pm and staying in the cabin. We're hoping to get enough drivers so that those who want to drive up Sunday morning can do so, but up to three others can drive up with Alex Saturday night if desired, and if all participants are up for staying at Camelot Saturday night and we have enough drivers, that's an option as well. Sleeping in the cabin is $10 and sleeping outside is $5 (the more fun option imo). Camelot is great!
