On Saturday (probably the coldest day of the year so far), we will be skiing the Cooley-Jericho GBA glade. The glades are a moderate pitch, and supposedly feature some beautiful yellow birches and views of Franconia Ridge. There are trees and other hazards like rocks and stumps that you would be less likely to encounter on the Sherb or other ski trails, so you must be an expert skier to join. If the glade is not in, we will go skin uphill laps at Tenney ($20).
I might've mentioned it will be cold! The high will be -8F, but most of the day will be ~-15F. Everyone on this trip will be required to have insulated top and bottoms, full face covering, and a belay parka, and we will do a gear check at our mandatory pretrip meeting (5:30 PM on Thursday).
