Join us for a beginner-friendly night XC skiing at Jackson XC Resort, NH on Saturday (Jan 24)! No prior experience with XC skiing is necessary! It will be cold this weekend but we will have access to the lodge to pop into & stay warm when needed.

We will leave from MIT ~2:30PM on Saturday for the ~3hr drive to Jackson. Night skiing hours are from 6-8PM.

Costs: Participants will share car costs (gas, wear/tear). If you are able to drive or rent a car, please indicate this on your lottery preferences. MITOC Winter School fees are capped at $20 ($5 Winter School hiking/XC ski fee + XC ski rentals). If you have your own skis you only need to pay the $5. There is an additional night skiing fee for the event ($10 venmo @wmskico which includes pizza).

Cabin overnight option: Jackson XC is very close to MITOC’s cabin in Intervale & staying overnight will be an option for those interested. Intervale can be described as ‘indoor camping’ (heat available but will need sleeping system).
