We will go to Green Woodlands to ski on groomed trails. Most trails are easy with a few intermediate sections. We expect our total mileage to be around 10 mi with about 1000 ft elevation gain. We will have an option to enjoy free cocoa and s'mores provided by the owners.

There are no rentals at Green Woodlands, so you will need to bring your skis from Boston. We will have a mandatory pre-trip meeting on Thrusday at 9 pm and will rent skis from MITOC if necessary.

Green Woodlands are very close to Camelot, so some of us may drive from there on Sunday morning. Otherwise we will start late (by WS standards) around 7:30 from boston and plan to start around 10 am.

Costs: Participants will share car costs (gas, wear/tear). We expect car costs to be ~$30-40. If you are able to drive or rent a car, please indicate this in your lottery preferences. MITOC Winter School fees are capped at $20 ($5 Winter School hiking/XC ski fee + XC ski rentals). If you have your own skis you only need to pay the $5.
