Let's kick off Winter School with a bit of a challenge! This is a moderate winter hike, accessible to participants who are strong hikers but not necessarily winter pros.
We will be hiking up Mt. Whiteface (4020') in the southern Whites via the Blueberry Ledge Trail. The hike is 7.8 miles round trip, with a 2850 foot ascent. There are good views along the hike up, and great views near the summit!
