Winter School Guest Lecture Series
Tonight we'll be hosting Lhakpa Sherpa! The talk runs from 7pm to 9pm with room for Q&As after the talk at room 1-190
Lhakpa is a Nepalese Sherpa mountain climber. In 2000, she became the first Nepali woman to climb and descend Everest successfully. On May 12, 2022, she made a record setting 10th summit of Everest, the most by any woman in the world!
