Join us this spooky Saturday to hike Owl's head a 4,000-footer in the Whites. The trail is long, the forest is dark, and rumor has it that ghosts haunt the Lincoln Woods Trail (though skeptics claim they’ve only been seen by dehydrated hikers 👀)
Route: 16 - 18 miles with ~3,200 ft of elevation gain. Map is here.
Logistics: We’ll leave Cambridge/Boston at 6:00 AM, with a quick Dunkin’ stop on the way. There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting on Thursday at 7 PM, and I’ll follow up with more details over email.
Pre-requisites: At least one hike in the past 6 months that’s 10+ miles with 3,000 ft of elevation gain. This shouldn’t be your first hike in the Whites. It’s not winter yet, but it’ll be cold and below freezing, so bring necessary layers. This sadly means no costumes on the hike, but we will discuss your hypothetical ones.
