We'll meet at the cabin (near North Conway, about a 3 hr drive from Cambridge) around 9:30am and spend the afternoon doing cabin maintenance, cleaning, and learning how to use the cabin. We expect to wrap up by around 2pm. After the training, you're welcome and encouraged to spend the night at Intervale and go on a trip in the area the next day. If you would like to drive up Friday night to avoid the early morning drive this is also an option.
We will work on various tasks to clean up the property and cabin before winter. This may include:
- Cleaning the cabin and grounds
- Repairing the gutter
- Reinforcing mouse proofing
- Trimming low hanging branches away from roof
- Restocking supplies as needed
Plan to eat breakfast before coming and to bring your own snacks and water for the day. Wear close toe shoes and clothes that you can get dirty. Jeans are fine. Bring work gloves and an n95 if you have them.
