Join your fellow Trisolarans this Saturday as we scramble up the Tripyramids, conquering a Two-Slide Problem and summiting two of New Hampshire's 4000-footers along the way!

Our route will be around 10.4 miles with 3000' elevation gain over challenging terrain. On our way up, we will climb up North Slide, which gains 1200' in just 0.5 miles on very steep and exposed slab terrain, then descend South Slide on loose scree. Both of these trails require technical scrambling and are on the New Hampshire Terrifying 25 list. In addition to general hiking fitness, you should have experience on similarly challenging scrambles in the White Mountains or elsewhere. There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting on Thursday, July 3rd at 6:30 PM on Zoom to go over the route, required gear, and logistics. Expect to depart Cambridge at 7 AM on Saturday morning and to be hiking all day. While the forecast is looking clear so far, we will only be attempting our planned route under ideal conditions, so please be prepared for potential changes as the hike approaches.

We will need a car for this trip, so preference may be given to drivers. Please make sure your car status is updated if you can drive others (including if you are willing to rent).
