The trip fee will cover the cost of the boat rental, so $6 per participant. Participants will share a canoe. Priority will be given to individuals who have done a boathouse training.
We will leave from the boathouse at 5:30pm. We’ll use our MITOC boat carts to carry MITOC canoes out to the Charles River and paddle for around an hour, then return to MIT around 8:30pm. No paddling experience necessary - in fact, this trip is intended for people who haven't been canoeing/paddling before, or haven't been recently. *Trip may be postponed in case of inclement weather.
