Joins our trip up to North Kinsman this Sunday! There'll be a mountain, a lake, and a lot of trees. It's going to be awesome.

Totalling 9.5 mi with about 3500 of elevation, this is one of the longer hikes this weekend, though not the most strenuous. The hike is below treeline, but there are a couple steep sections that may require traction. Contact one of the leader's if you're worried about the difficulty.

Route: We'll part at the Basin, and take the Basin Cascade Trail up to Lonesome Lake (which is beautiful in the winter!). We'll then head up the Fishin' Jimmy Trail to the summit of North Kinsman (no fish included, sorry). On our way down, we'll take the Kinsman Pond Trail back to the Basin Cascade Trail. Notes

What are the longest hikes you've done in winter and not-winter? Where will you be coming from Sunday morning? Where will you be going Sunday night? Are you excited? (there's only one correct answer)
