Join two short hikes in one day, a great introduction to two popular New Hampshire mountains known for offering great views without being too strenuous! Both are on the 52-with-a-view list!
Mt. Pemigewasset: 3.8 miles, 1250 ft. gain, with open views of Franconia Notch.
(short drive in between, with a stop for lunch and restrooms)
Mt. Willard: 3.2 miles, 900 ft. gain, with a famous view down U-shaped Crawford Notch carved by glaciers.
We'll plan to stop for a quick breakfast along the drive up, and we'll hike at a comfortable pace.
Mandatory pre-trip meeting on zoom: Thursday, May 22 at 7pm.
If you can drive your own car or are willing to drive a rental car, edit the lottery preferences on your MITOC profile to show this.
