Join us as we plant a large number of trees and native pollinators around the newly completed Camelot parking area. We have more than 50 trees and hundreds of native pollinators that need to go in, so we will spend the day digging holes, amending soil, and planting. No experience required. New MITOCers are always welcome.
We will start at 9AM and go until everything is done, which will probably be some time in the late afternoon. The plants need to go in the ground during the spring, so this is a rain or shine event. Lunch (usually pizza) and some snacks will be provided. During lunch, we'll also do a Camelot Keyholder training for anybody that needs it or wants a refresher.
There is absolutely no running water at the cabin, and we'll be working out in the sun, so please bring plenty of water.
Come out for fun times with plants. Monday is memorial day, so you could even consider staying the night and hiking or climbing.
You must have signed a MITOC liability waiver in order to attend this trip. MITOC membership is not required, although if you become a keyholder you will need to be a member in order to use the cabin.
