Celebrate the coming of Spring by climbing with us at Farley Ledges!

Farley is a gneiss climbing area located around 90 minutes west of Boston. It has a wide range of routes, sport and trad, of all grades. It has routes featuring: 1. Some of the best crack climbing in the Northeast 2. Never ending slopers (a Farley specialty) 3. Delicate, seemingly featureless slab 4. Big roofs on monster jugs 5. All of the above, in a single route!

You must be very comfortable with top-rope belaying to go on this trip. Lead belaying/leading experience is not necessary, but if you have leading experience and want some outdoor mileage we can try to make that happen.

Disclaimer: The forecast for next weekend has been fickle - if the weather doesn't cooperate, this may be rescheduled, cancelled, or replanned.

On grades: If you haven't climbed much outside, the "official" grades will most likely be only loosely correlated with your experienced difficulty. For this trip, it's more important that you are ready to have fun playing on routes a little outside your comfort zone than that you climb any given grade in the gym.
