Come join us for a BBQ+hang on MIT campus!

We are hosting a climbing leader social on Thusday, 4/10. We would love to have you join if you are:

1. A current MITOC climbing leader
2. Interested in applying this season to become a MITOC climbing leader
3. An outdoor climber who would like to find out more about what being a MITOC climbing leader entails! (so that we can get you to move to #2 ;P )

If you are still developing outdoor climbing skills and are not looking to become a climbing in the next season or so, then attending a gym night (or applying for School of Rock!) is a better fit.

We'll have a short info session about what MITOC climbing is all about, and what the application process looks like. Folks are welcome to use this time as an excuse to fill out the climbing leader application. You should also feel free to bring ropes, harnesses etc if you want to review any rope skills!

Other than that, this is primarily a social to enjoy the coming of spring, plan some trips, make some new friends, and celebrate the coming of ROCK SEASON!

(Food will be provided - assuming the weather is not horrible we'll do an outdoor BBQ, probably burgers or hotdogs + some veg/vegan alternatives.)

NOTE: If there's a waitlist, feel free to sign up on it - we may expand the headcount, and we will ask folks who can no longer make it to drop closer to the day of.
