Do you sometimes feel too stuck in your rigid routine? Have you alpine skied, but just feel too constrained to fully express yourself? Are your heels (and your mind) begging to be free?
Come learn to telemark ski at Blue Hills Ski Area with us on Wednesday 1/29. The trip is targeted towards beginner telemark skiers, but if you have done it before and want more practice feel free to sign up! This trip will feature mostly casual free skiing (with a buddy of course), but the trip leaders will be available to give tele tips. This trip is not a great choice though if you've never skied before!
We'll meet at the MITOC office in the afternoon on Wednesday 1/29 at 4pm to discuss logistics and rent gear. We will plan to leave from there at 5pm to drive out to the Blue Hills and ski from 6-9PM. We plan to return gear to the MITOC office after. Expect to be busy until about 11PM. Night skiing tickets at Blue Hills cost $30, in addition to the $30 MITOC ski trip fee.
