- 52 with a view = incredible elevation gain to views ratio
- 2 summits in 1 hike
- we will practice using crampons and ice axes
- dedicated practice time for other technical skills, including setting up emergency shelter, self-arresting w/ ice axe, butt-sledding, stove ignition, warm drink drinking, peeing in the woods, etc.
- did we mention butt-sledding?
- it will be cold and there may be times when we are not moving (during aforementioned skills practice times) so prepare for locking in your layering and cold-management system.
Bring a warm beverage (tea, cocoa, cider, etc) for us to heat up with our stoves!
