Come learn how to skate ski at Weston Ski Track!

What is skate skiing you may ask? It is how you go really fast on skis. Zoom across the snow like an Olympian!

This trip is aimed for beginner skate skiers. We will start with the basics of how to skate ski, and then hit the trails for a chill skate.

Unfortunately, MITOC does not have skate ski equipment, so we will need to rent from the nordic center on site. A breakdown of costs for the trip is: * Skate skis, boots, poles: $26 * Afternoon trail pass: $13 Financial aid is available for MIT students

We'll take a relaxed morning start and leave Cambridge at 9:00 am to arrive by 9:30am to rent skis (if needed). There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting at 6:15 pm on Thursday outside the MITOC office on the 4th floor of the MIT student center.
