Prerequisites
Recommended: Hiking experience of similar length and gain in any season.

Mount Israel is one of New Hampshire's 52-With-A-View - weather permitting, we'll be able to see Squam Lake and the surrounding mountains of the Sandwich Range.

The hike is 4.2 miles and 1800 ft of elevation gain. We may add a 1.2-mile bonus hike to Beede Falls and Lower Falls if everyone's up for it.

We'll hike at a comfortable pace. This is a great introduction to winter hiking if you have a bit of 3-season experience.

The pre-trip meeting will be at 6pm Thursday, before the Winter School lecture.

Remember to update your car/driver status in “Lottery preferences” on your MITOC profile!
