Do you love climbing stairs, but it always seems as if there just aren't enough? Wishing for a MITOC trip this weekend, but don't have more than an hour to spare?
Come to outdoor stair climbing at Harvard Stadium this Sunday morning! There is no organization, just a group of people who show up to toil on endless, endless stairs.
We'll meet/start on the corner closest to the indoor track (Section 37), and you're welcome to climb as many sections you'd like, at your own pace. (Climbing all sections is 1.4 mi, 1400 ft. elevation gain.) We’ll arrive at 11:00am, hang out for 10 minutes to chat, and then get climbing. Bring water and snacks, and layers appropriate for exercising in 30 F weather! Afterwards, we'll regroup at the starting point, and those who want to can go out to lunch.
Why climb stairs? Because climbing mountains with ease and happiness doesn’t happen for free. You will struggle on stairs today and float through the clouds on the mountaintops tomorrow. Your glutes will be the glutes that pierce the heavens.
