Come hike Mt Monadnock!

What is Monadnock?

It's a fun mountain, not too far away, and despite only having a heaight around 3100 feet, it has a treeline and great views!

Difficulty

I call this "moderate". It's about 6.6 miles and about 2k feet of elevation gain. There is about a half mile of steepness on the way up and down with a 30% grade (something most people would consider steep).

Weather

Looks to be around freezing with some stiff winds in the forecast (will be keeping an eye on that). Mountain forecast here.

Mandatory pre-trip meeting over zoom on Thursday night at 9pm. If you can't make it, you'll need to be in conversation with the trip leader(s) to stay on the trip after the lottery runs.
