Join us for a Sunday hike in the White Mountains through the Timber Camp trail! This is a moderate 7.4 mile hike with 1550 ft of vertical gain. We'll hike at a comfortable pace and take in the changing leaves. We will plan to stop for a quick breakfast along the drive up. Map

Highlights:

  • Goodrich Rock: One of the largest glacial erratics in NH (a GIANT boulder carried hundreds or thousands of miles by glaciers and dropped here, of different composition than the other rocks). There is an optional 20 ft. ladder up the rock for those who want to climb on top of it!

  • Timber Camp: A viewpoint with surprisingly good views of Mt. Tripyramid, Mt. Kancamagus, and the Painted Cliff of Mt. Osceola for a limited effort!

If you can drive your own car or are willing to drive a rental car, edit the lottery preferences on your MITOC profile to show this.

We might switch to the Monday holiday if weather forces us to.
