Itinerary

We will meet at the Gunks Saturday morning at 9am. We have a campground reserved for both Friday and Saturday nights for the entire group, and will climb again on Sunday.

Requirements

  • Be a SoR participant
  • Bring all appropriate gear: helmet, harness, climbing shoes, belay device, snacks/water, camping gear (tent, sleeping bag/pad, utensils, headlamp)

Cost

Your SoR fee covers most of everything for this trip, including the trip fee, camping fee, dinner on Saturday, and light breakfast on Sunday. Note: You should bring your own plate and utensil(s)

Your SoR fee does not cover any lunch, snacks, or gas money for your drivers. It also does NOT cover the Gunks entry - you can either buy day passes or a year membership (you can buy with up to 4 people on a family plan for a discount).

Gear

In addition to your climbing gear be sure to bring camping gear. We will not be staying at a cabin so make sure you are prepared with a tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, etc. You can rent most things from MITOC, info available on mitoc.mit.edu/rentals

Ride and Tent Share Notes
